  2. Peter is right: great work on the white !
    difficult to do!
I've painted those **** teutonics a long time ago, when I was a beginner in a "Group Build" on Benno and I'm sure that the other members who helped me (and learned me a lot!) felt relieved when I finished them !!
I'll show them a next time in my blog...

    Like always: beautiful pictures!

    1. Hello Pascal. Thanks! Your're right, painting a whole area in one color isn't easy, but I'm trying to get better. Waiting for the pictures of your group buildt knights on your blog.

  3. I like the poses on these riders, very dynamic and intense. And how did you get the shading done so well on the white? You've gotten the sense of movement in the draping. Really nice work.

    1. Hello Anne, the base color is a normal white. For the first shades I mixed a little bit black with white. for this I used oil colors and blend it into the base color. Then I mixed more black to this basic mixture. The highlights are done with pure white oil color. At last, some ares are painted with pastel chalk in a sandy tone. Most of the effects you can't see on the pictures because of the light I use taking the pictures.

    1. Thanks Rodger. To get the effect was a hard work and most of the effects you can not see on the pictures because of the light I use by making the pictures.
