Thoughts at the turn of the year

About a year ago, it is now, as I sat here and let the past year pass in review and wondered what I had the intentions for now implemented. The honest answer: Not many.

Now another year is approaching its end and it is time again to pause a little and reflect on what has brought this year.

No, I will not write now about economic developments, disasters, school shootings and similar themes. I shall confine myself to a few words about my hobby.

Well, on the one hand, a variety of relaxing hours with my family and with my hobbies. This blog I have started about a year ago and I don’t believe it, I persevered. This is due to the many friendly contacts that I have made in this way and of course the reactions to my small works that I have described here.

Last year I started a lot of projects (actually too many), but only a few are completed. Furthermore, I was able in the past year to increase my stock of model kits and figure sets (you know, the stock for a rainy day).

Many ideas have been developed in the course of the year, and were rejected, but I'm still working on some. Maybe they are implemented sometime.
Unbelievable, I actually took the time to visit Model events.

And in the New Year

I can’t increase my stock on kits and sets much more, because I'm running out of space.
I want to visit some Model events in the new year and  I will try to continue a couple of unfinished projects, and perhaps even to finish.
On my blog I will also develop something. This means among other things that you still have to endure me for a while. I also would like to participate more actively in the communities and forums, which I've joined.

The most important thing is that in the new year I would like to spend enough time with my family.

Well, that’s it, my preview and review  to the new year.

I wish you and your families a good 2013, good health and happiness.

With this in mind....

  3. I will have no problems enduring you for another year my friend. I think most of us have projects that lie abandoned on the roadside of last year. I'm new to the hobby and have already made peace with that aspect of it. I will allow myself to have fun and go where my fancy takes me. 2012 was the year I began painting, so hardships aside, it was a good year indeed.

Wishing you and your family a Happy and prosperous New Year!

The most important in our Hobby(t) is that we meet many people and sometimes we have a "good feeling" with some of them.
