Little Zombie(6)

Although I am not a great fan of gardening, I sat down this weekend and completed the planting of the base. As nice as in the photo above, she looked before I put more hands on them. What became of it, you can see in this post.

The aim was to show a part of an old ruin partly recaptured by the nature.
For planting the base I used the following materials:

    • dried lichen from the garden for smaller plants
    • some sand
    • small stones
    • tobacco for roots and dead vines
    • small branches
    • flock from Woodland Scenics
    • kitchen herbs for the leaves
The material was then glued with a transparent adhesive drying glue on the base and then partially treated color. The final result can be seen in the next pictures.

Smiley

That's about it for today. I hope you enjoy the little progress. I look forward to seeing you again at the next part of my Little Zombie series.Smiley

    3. Thanks Pascal. The original plan was a base for the Zombie figure but meanwhile I've planned a second figure, that the Zombie did not feel alone with the treasure chest ;-)

  5. Bruno, this is excellent! You've made creative use of things that are natural here. The tobacco for the roots is a unique idea. Very much looking forward to the rest of this series.

  6. Thanks Anne for your kind comment. Every time I'm going through the nature I'm looking for useful things because they look good and they are cheap.
