Suzie - Step 3

Unbelievable! Despite all the Christmas preparations finally I have found some time for my hobby. This time I used to continue painting at Suzie.

In this step, I dared myself to the painting of the face and set the first lights and shadows. Now I let it  dry a bit and then it goes on with some corrections and make up.

The other steps of Suzie:

Suzie
Suzie - Step 1
Suzie - Step 2

With this in mind....

    1. Thank you Mario!

I'm sorry, because I don't have a tutorial. It's the first figure I paint with oil colors. In the past I used oil colors more for weathering and shading. So it's a new challenge for me. One tip I have for you (it's the same I always say to me)... be patient ;-).

For me the advantage of oil color is the long dry phase. So you can blend colors days later or correct them. But this advantage is a simultaneous disadvantage, because sometimes you have to wait unless you use a quick dry medium for oil colors.

    2. Thanks for the tip ! It is a golden one, but not always doable. ( for me then, i tend to fly before i can walk )

    1. Thank you Pascal!

Advent Calendar is a great idea Pascal! Unfortunately I hadn't the time during the last weeks. Maybe it's getting better the next weeks. But I will work on updates of Suzie.
